Sandlapper Baseball League

 

On behalf of the Sandlapper Baseball League Founding Members, we would like to welcome you to the inaugural season of the Sandlapper Baseball League!

 

The Sandlapper Baseball League was created with the following goals in mind:

 

1) We want to be the premier summer baseball league for high school players and coaches in South Carolina.

 

2) We want to create an environment where the great high school coaches within our state can continue to build their programs, without worrying about age restrictions.  Under the SBL, every player within your program will be eligible to play for your team during the summer.

 

3) We want to reduce the financial burden of summer baseball for programs and parents.  The SBL doesn't need your money to operate and therefore the cost to your program and parents will be significantly less without sacrificing the quality of the league.

 

4) We want to create a league that emphasizes player safety and operates with integrity.  This is not something we just put on paper and talk about.  This is the core foundation that the SBL is build on and we will place it at the forefront of every decision we make.

 

Our vision for the SBL is real simple - we want to be the go to summer baseball league for high school programs in the state of South Carolina.  We will do this by limiting the barriers to entry for programs and parents, without sacrificing the quality of the league.  We will place an emphasis on player safety and operating with integrity and we will make sure that there's not a player within your program who doesn't have a place to play so you can continue to build your program in the summer months.
